Known details of the Gloria Dei angel as seen on the front side of our building:

An original model of the angel was seen by Pastor Joseph Kiser and his wife Judy in Chicago in a retail window display for Carson’s at Christmas time. Pastor Kiser commissioned the artist of the display to re-create the work now displayed on our building. The art work and installation was paid for by Tom Bakker’s father Peter Bakker, and given in loving memory of Peter’s wife Mary. Best information at present gives an approximate time for this being completed in the year 1970.

More details are being sought. — a more accurate time line, the artist's name, etc.
