2011 Annual Report

In January 2011, a meeting was held to disperse the proceeds from 2010 Holiday Bazaar. Dispersements listed below.
Bazaar 2011 Supplies $500.00 — Raffle Item $300.00 — Vicar Program $5,000.00 — Lutheran Outdoor Ministries $500.00 — Banners for Church Sanctuary $500.00 — ELCA Benevolent Fund $600.00

We participated with the Legacy Foundation and Neighborhood Inc. to provide a community beautification project - a handcrafted bench. The project hopes to build friendships and community. "Please have a seat"!

In May, the serious work for the Holiday Bazaar began! A church garden was planted. The tomatoes, peppers, pickles, and zucchini were used in making items for the bazaar. We met often as we prepared for the 2011 Holiday Bazaar. We had fun during our workshops and got to know one another a little better. We were not lacking in ideas, just time!!! Church members donated their time, jars, canning supplies, produce and cash.

To all those who worked and supported the 2011 Holiday Bazaar, thank you! God blessed the Bazaar more than we ever imagined! Over $5,000.00 was raised! Thank you, God! $500.00 was dispersed to the ELCA Benevolent Fund. Remaining funds will be dispersed at the next meeting. Please join us for fun and fellowship as we prepare for the 2012 Holiday Bazaar!
