Witness Committee Report 2011

The Witness Committee is responsible for ministering to God’s children in the church as well as in the community by hosting various activities. This includes several active ministries such as Prayer Ministry, Grace Notes, Ladies Birthday Club and the Men’s Breakfast. Much of events witnessed is covered by reports of the groups that this committee oversees and in particular the Grace Notes report. A couple events not covered are participation in parades in July and December. Another event being the Hanging the Greens and Pizza Party also in December.

This committee shall work to deepen the faith of members of the congregation, return former members to the Christian community, and encourage the members to provide individual and corporate witnessing to Jesus Christ among all people. This committee shall present to the council at its November meeting each year a list of those members of the congregation who have neither contributed or communed.
